The divisible silos Ø 12.500 have the roof, the body and the cone built by 16 bolted elements. This kind of construction allows to transport the silos on a normal truck. The silos are bolted externally and so the assembly on the yard is very easy and fast. The carrying structure is realized by open section beam and appropriate dimensioned bracing. The loading pipes are placed externally. 

- Internal Ø 12.500 mm;
- External Ø max 13.300 mm;
- Height flange to ground zero around 1600 mm;
- Conical found inclined 53° with Ø discharge 600 mm;
- Circolar Flange Ø 600 mm at the discharge;
- N.4 inspection door;
- Carrying structure realised with HEA 260-400 beams with windbrace L beam;
- N.3 Loading pipe Ø 114 x 4 mm with cement large radius curve;
- All the bolts and gaskets necessary for the assembly R. 8.8 are galvanised. 

Internal finish: anti-rust.
External finish: Preparation: P1 preparation degree, according to the ISO 8501 standard. Painting: a two component, high build, acrylic polyurethane semi gloss primer/finish , containing zinc phosphate anticorrosive pigmentation. Medium thickness 175 µm, minimum thickness 100 µm. Standard colour RAL9002, particulars RAL2000.
Suitable for the loading by truck. 

GENERAL DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS FOR CEMENT SILOS (GREATER THAN Ø3.500 mm)

Silos for cement storage (bulk density: 1,33 t/m3) are designed for the following environmental conditions:
- Soil roughness: flat area with low vegetation, isolated obstacles 20 times the height from the installation site
- Exposition Category II (Eurocode 1);
- Actions on structures:
snow load: 1.00 kN/m2
wind load: v= 28 m/s – 100 km/h;
- Ground type: type B, medium consistency soil, average shear waves velocity in the top 30 m: between 360 m/s and 800 m/s, NSPT > 50 blows / 30 cm in coarsed-grained ground and  Cu,30 > 250 kPA in fine-grained grounds (Eurocode 8);
- Seismic action: peak value of assumed horizontal acceleration of the elastic response spectrum for the lifesaving ultimate limit state: ag/g = 0,20;
- Outside air temperature: within -5° (minimum winter temperature) and +40° (maximum summer temperature), unless for the supply of insulated claddings on the concrete plants and/or the silos;
- Importance Class: Class I, buildings with occasional presence of people (Eurocode 1).

Steel for structural use: S275 or better quality, hot-rolled profiles, in accordance with the EN 10025 standards.
Alloy steel: S235 or better quality, in accordance with the UNI EN 10025 standards.
