FLAP LEVEL INDICATOR 24/48 VAC 50/60 HZ
Cost-effective rotary vane level switch with type examination certificate zone 20 according to ATEX dust Ex approval
Generic Description
Application
The FTE 30 universal rotary vane level switch is used as full/empty and demand alarm in tanks containing bulk solids.
The execution and the materials allow the application of the tool in the food industry. The certification for zone 20 dusts broadens the application possibilities.
Benefits
- operational simplicity
- patented measuring principle
- slide stop
- IP 65 degree of protection
- dust Ex area according to ATEX zone 20
Operation and structure of the system
Measurement principle
The shaft and the vane are activated by a synchronized motor, by means of a reduction mechanism. If the vane stops due to material deposits, the motor hinged in the housing moves from the rest position to the switching position. This shift acts on two changeover contacts. The first is for external level indication and the second for switching off the engine.
The paddle begins to rotate when the level drops below the paddle. The hinged motor returns to the rest position and the two contacts switch to the normal operating condition. Intermittent loads against or even in the direction of rotation are compensated by using a holding clutch.
Measurement system
Complete level limit switch consisting of a rod with synchronized motor and sliding stop, single pole changeover contact. Typical application areas for level control are: cereals, sugar, cocoa, animal feed, washing powders, gypsum, canary clay, cement, granulates, wood chips
Exit
Exit sign
The contact changes if the solids reach the level threshold.
Switching output
Potential-free changeover contact.
